Fernanda is an AHPRA-registered Psychologist who has completed a Masters of Clinical Psychology. She also holds a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours).
Fernanda’s Approach
Fernanda’s work is primarily informed by psychodynamic therapy. Fernanda offers a supportive and reflective space where clients can slow down, build insight, and explore their inner experiences with compassion and curiosity. Fernanda values collaboration and works alongside clients to foster meaningful and sustainable change. She supports clients experiencing:
- Relationship and attachment-related difficulties
- Anxiety, including worry, social anxiety, and perfectionism
- Depression and persistent low mood
- Chronic stress and burnout
- Self-esteem, shame, and self-compassion difficulties
- Emotional regulation challenges, including anger and irritability
- Perinatal and parenting-related concerns
- Grief and loss
- Sleep-related difficulties
- Questions of meaning, values, and identity
- Trauma-related experiences
Work History & Special Interests
Fernanda has worked across both public mental health and educational settings, supporting adults and children presenting with a range of emotional and psychological difficulties. Fernanda has a particular interest in helping clients uncover recurring relational patterns and understanding how inner emotional worlds are shaped by earlier relationships and life experiences. She offers therapy in English and Brazilian Portuguese.
